RESONATE WILD CARD EVENT

Saturday 24TH July

We’re thrilled to continue our Resonate Wild Card Event in 2027, giving your students the chance to take part in two epic workshops and perform live at the Hurstville Entertainment Centre.

The Wild Card Event Is Great For:

• NSW & ACT based high schools with a Dance Team of 20+ students.

• High Schools who have thought about participating in the Australian Dance Festival in September but worry about whether the event may be too overwhelming for their students.

• Building confidence in students who may feel that the Australian Dance Festival is too big and intimidating for them. They will get a taste of all the great things about ADF - amazing instructors and the thrill of performing, in a much more intimate environment.

Held at the Hurstville Entertainment Centre in July, It’s their opportunity to shine on stage.

3 Schools will be chosen by our esteemed judges to fast-track straight to the Resonate Finals, happening on Sunday, September 19th, on the Main Stage at ADF 2027!

The Resonate Wild Card Event is your school’s chance to make an impact and earn a place among the best, performing at the Australian Dance Festival’s biggest night of the year!

What Happens if You Win A Wild Card?

• Placing as a Wild Card also gives you more options at the ADF.

• As Wild Cards are not chosen until 24th July, we understand that it can be difficult for schools to organise for their students to pay the Resonate Registration fee and attend the Resonate Workshops on Friday 17th Sept, as well as competing on Sunday 19th Sept.

• Students who are part of a Wild Card entry will be EXEMPT from having to pay the Resonate Registration fee, and going to the workshops on Friday.  If they wish to go, they can opt in.

• Schools will also not have to pay the commitment fee to participate in Resonate.
