WORKSHOPS FOR
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
We are offering an opportunity for students from high schools to experience the workshops and shows at the Australian Dance Festival for a fraction of the price. Over the years, we have received feedback from dance teachers in high schools who want their students to participate in the Australian Dance Festival, however, the 3 day event and the associated costs make it difficult for them to organise school excursions.
We have addressed this by dedicating Friday 18th September to students from Primary and High schools.
The cost is just $99* per student.
*Students must be part of a High School booking in order to access the subsidized price of $99 for the workshops and shows.
FRIDAY SCHEDULE
From 8.30am - Doors Open for School Students & Teachers ONLY
9.30am - 10am - Venue & Safety Induction Brief
10am - 11am - Workshop 1 (exclusive to School students only)
11am - 12pm - Workshop 2 (exclusive to School students only)
12:15 - 1pm - Lunch
From 12pm - Doors Open to General Public
1pm -2pm - Workshop 3 (Students have a choice of 3 workshops, or can opt to sit out)
2.10pm - 3.10pm - Workshop 4 (Students have a choice of 3 workshops, or can opt to sit out)
3.20 - 4.20pm - Workshop 5 (Students have a choice of 3 workshops, or can opt to sit out)
4.30pm - 6pm - Dinner Break
6pm - 7pm - Students can visit the exhibitors at the Australian Dance Festival and also have dinner etc.
7pm - Doors open for Resonate & ABDC
7.30pm - Resonate & ABDC Dance Competition
10pm - Show finishes. Venue closed
