Wild card Event - Saturday 25th July
Australia's Best Dance Crew Wild Card Event is back, giving your students the chance to train in two epic workshops and hit the stage with a live performance at the Hurstville Entertainment Centre!
The Wild Card Event Is Great For:
-
NSW & ACT based dance schools with a Dance Team of 15+ students.

Dance Schools who have thought about participating in the Australian Dance Festival in September but worry about whether the event may be too overwhelming for their students.

Building confidence in students who may feel that the Australian Dance Festival is too big and intimidating for them. They will get a taste of all the great things about ADF - amazing instructors and the thrill of performing, in a much more intimate environment.
Held at the Hurstville Entertainment Centre in July, It’s their opportunity to shine on stage.
3 Schools will be chosen by our esteemed judges to fast-track straight to the Australia's Best Dance Crew Finals, happening on Sunday, September 20th, on the Main Stage at ADF 2026!
Australia's Best Dance Crew Wild Card Event, is your school’s chance to shine, make an impact, stand out, and earn your place among the best as you perform at the Australian Dance Festival’s biggest night of the year!
What Happens if You Win A Wild Card?

Placing as a Wild Card also gives you more options at the ADF.

As Wild Cards are not chosen until 25th July, we understand that it can be difficult for Dance Studios to organise for their students to pay the compulsory $350 ABDC competitor fee for each student.

Students who are part of a Wild Card entry will be EXEMPT from having to pay the $350.

They can pay $0 and simply show up on Sunday 20th September to compete on stage.

They will also be ELIGIBLE for the discounted weeked pass of $350 if they wish to go to the ADF Workshops and evening shows on Friday 18th - Sunday 20th September.

Studios will also not have to pay the $205 Troupe Registration fee to participate in ABDC.
