If you've been thinking seriously about doing full-time dance, then you won't want to miss out on the opportunity to audition for some of Australia's best full-time dance schools at the Australian Dance Festival.  We have already confirmed that the following schools will be involved:

  • There will be specific workshops sponsored by the full-time dance schools.  All of these will be held in the Genea Netball Centre

  • At the end of the class, the instructor will ask those who wish to audition for their dance school as well as the Dance Around The World Solo Competition to step forward.

  • You must have a weekend pass and be registered (i.e. you just need to go to our registration desk to get a number which you can pin to your front)

  • The instructor will watch you dance, and if they are interested in you, they will either announce your number, or you will be contacted by them later on.

  • Once you have been identified as a potential candidate for their full-time school, they will organise to interview you either at the Australian Dance Festival or after.

  • Each full-time dance school will also have a booth at the Australian Dance Festival.

  • We encourage you to visit the booths where you (and your parents) will have the opportunity to meet face to face with instructors and other students to find out more about each school, and which school is right for you.
